Plaxo Wins Best Consumer Productivity Service at 2005 Codie Awards

May 26, 2005 (MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.) — Plaxo™, Inc., creator of the fastest-growing consumer Internet service for updating and accessing contact information, today announced that its flagship product, Plaxo, was named Best Consumer Productivity Service at the 20th annual Codie Awards ceremony. The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) awarded Plaxo a Codie Award based on Plaxo’s superior ability to most effectively assists individuals in a personal task.

This year over 800 companies submitted more than 1,000 nominations. The Codie Awards is the only peer-recognition awards program of its kind in the industry. The award finalists are judged in two extensive rounds of reviews — first by representatives from the software trade press, mainstream technology writers and experts in education technology, and finally by voting members of SIIA, the principal trade association for the software and digital content industry.
