Victor and Rosie Helbling

Victor M. Helbling, PMP, is an information technology project manager. He served 25 years in the Air Force as a certified software engineer, project manager, and Chief Information Officer. Upon retirement he has served as a project manager for software development in industry and government for eight years. He has a Bachelors degree in computer science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a Master of Science degree in Research and Development Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Information Systems Management from Creighton University. He is a certified Spanish linguist by the Defense Language Institute, officiated three years as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, and was both published and a national award recipient for implementation of SEI CMM in the software production environment. He is a federally certified Chief Information Officer and served in Washington DC as program manager for the Vice President of the United States’ Customer Satisfaction Initiative.
