Celso Araujo joined the TV Globo in 1973 as Maintenance Technician in the Central Globo de Engenharia in Rio de Janeiro.
Where he spent more than 12 years in Maintenance, period where they had the opportunity to develop in some sectors of maintaining the broadcast, such as camera, lenses, videotape, audio, switchers, routers, and even in the management of systems and teams, as well as the management of operations of production and also in sporting events and concerts.

Since 1998 initiates the study and development of HDTV for implementation in the area of production of digital cinema and TV drama.
Leader of the project and integration of the SHOPTIME cable and satellite channel in migrating to digital.
