Onic's 17-year business experience is diverse: 10 years as a venture capitalist, 4 as an entrepreneur and 3 in financial services.

Onic is the investment Director of Capital Connect Ventures since the fund's inception in 2003, managing consumer goods, medical devices, energy and recycling investments.

In 1999 Onic founded two technology companies, ihavemoved Ltd in London and ich-zieh-um GmbH in Hamburg. He sourced $10 million from investors including Rothschild’s, RWE, Hyundai and MIT’s Nicholas Negroponte. In 2003 Royal Mail Plc and Deutsche Post AG acquired them.

Previously, while at Dorian Eagle Financial Partners (Hadjipateras Group), he financed energy, transportation and technology investments. Onic started his career in 1992 as an executive at J.Hancock - now Manulife Financial - the 3rd largest Financial Services group in the world.

Onic earned a BSc in Management from Bentley and a CSS in Business Administration from Harvard.
