Following a vision of the future in 1966, I've worked as an environmental professional for 22 years followed by 18 years as a Native American fluteplayer, storyteller, teacher, powwow coordinator, and a Native American Spiritual Leader at the California Institution for Women in Chino. As an environmental professional I worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 10 years, taught forestry in college, and then worked in the waste management, recycling and composting industries as a consulting environmental engineer. Realizing finally that, of all living things in the circle of life, it is only the two-leggeds that are broken, I've dedicated my latest 18 years to my Native American ancestry, teaching, performing, being active in the largest urban Native population in America as a role model and spiritual leader. I currently have three recordings of my flute music and play for many occasions, in many venues.
