Over the last few years I have been working for Schüco International in the caopacity of General Manager for the Architectural Advisory Service. What gave me the right to feel that I could advise the architects and engineers in the design for their projects. I studied architecture at both Cambridge and subsequently for my BSc at North London Polytecnic. For 21 years I worked in Architectural Practice at Chapman Taylor partners, J S Bonnington and Covell Matthews Wheatley architects., also some smaller practices. I joined Schüco International in 1984 to open the Architectural Advisory Service whch at that time was based at Times House Hemel Hempstead. After this we moved to larger offices in Maylands avenue Hemel Hempstead and subsequently to our own offices in Milton Keynes. After 10 years I moved to the Middle East in 1994 and opened a dedicated office in the Dubai Airport Freezone in 2 000. The work entailed meetings and Seminars on Facades in many regions and included all of the GCC countries Africa, India, Iran and also the Ukraine. After many years I will now finish with Schüco International KG at the end of 2010 and hopefully continue to work as an independent consultant in the Facade and Architectural Industries where ever I am needed. I have made many friends during my time and included many contacts on LinkedIn/Plaxo and where I have received many acknowledgments showing appreciation for the work done.
