Brian Kapchinskie

I currently work for BKD, LLP where I work in the tax department doing compliance. I have been through two busy seasons. One as an intern and one as a staff. I recently received my CPA license. I have a wide range experience in various areas of Federal and State taxation. I work primarily on personal wealth clients, small to midsize business, and not for profit entities. I was born and raised in Bryan/College Station. My family runs a barbeque restaurant, Martin's Place, that has been in our family for 88 years. While in high school I began the process of acquiring our historical marker and in 2006 we were finally approved. I attended Texas A&M from 2001-2006. I received my Bachelors and Masters in Accounting with an emphasis in taxation. I was a member of the Professional Progam in Accounting Group 13.
