Raffaele Jacovelli, has almost thirty years of professional experience, twenty of which in senior management positions, with multinational High Technology companies. He started his career at the Italian National Research Center (CNR). After having successfully launched the Italian subsidiaries of several multinational IT companies among which Modcomp and Informix Software, he took over leading roles in Marketing and Sales at International headquarters with AC Nielsen and Olivetti reporting directly to their group CEO. For 5 years, has applied the expertise gained in previous positions at Merrill Lynch South Europe Headquarters. He then led a major private project for the acquisition and integration of several companies ranging from ICT, to Management Consulting, Marketing Research, and Communication creating a conglomerate of 12 companies employing 400 people. He has spent 1 year in Executive Search with an Italian privately owned company, before joining Hightech Partners in 2006. His industry expertise includes: Hardware Peripherals and Components, Computer Software, Networking, Systems Integration and Consultancy, Telecom, On-line services, Multimedia. Mr. Jacovelli has been among the founders of Unix International and the European Software Publishers Association. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Rome. He is married with two children and resides both in Bruxelles, Belgium and Milan, Italy
