The bulk of my career has been focused upon the Internet's myriad intersections with the areas of Commerce, Media/Entertainment, Content/Data Delivery, and Transaction Security. I currently lead the Cross Platform Services Technology Group at Gemstar-TV Guide as Division CTO, spearheading the initiative to enable content delivery, personalization services, commerce, and targeted advertising to a plethora of Web-based, Consumer Electronics, cable/satellite set-top, and mobile devices.

Previous to my current role I was in charge of a number of client/server and hosted solutions groups in the Consumer division at Symantec.

Prior to Symantec, I spent nearly a decade at Microsoft in a number of senior management and Lead Engineering positions in the Internet Information Server (Windows), Visual Studio, Office, and MSN Ecommerce groups.

The bulk of my pre-technology career was spent using my "other" degree (Mathematics) as a technical analyst for a very large financial instution (AIG) doing variable annuity 'Beta' calculations for 403b funds.
