Element Design and Chase Watts: an overview and background Element Design is a full spectrum graphic design studio specializing in corporate identity, branding, print collateral, and international conferences. Each venture undertaken is considered carefully, with equal attention given to the needs of the clients and to the job’s solution. Throughout the process of interpretation, the highest standards of creative graphic communication are maintained. Collaborating with specialized consultants on a project-by-project basis allows the studio to provide clients with a focused service, that ultimately results in successful jobs. Capabilities of the studio includes: project management, design, print production, copy writing, photography, illustration, environment design and interactive/web design. At the heart of Element is the creative direction of Chase Watts who earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the California College of Arts and Crafts. He later founded Eurythmy Studios, which became a prominent Bay Area design firm providing highly specialized marketing materials for many specialty and Fortune 500 companies. After over five successful years of business and creative development, he left Eurythmy to develop a new studio—Element Design. Element’s diverse work is recognized in numerous industry publications and he has several awards, including: ID Magazine Annual Design Review, the AR 100, the Potlach Annual Report Show, the Mead Annual Report Show, Communication Arts, Graphis Logo, Graphis Letterhead and Print Magazine.
