Brad DeanBrad Dean has committed more than six years to protecting, serving, and nourishing local businesses in Myrtle Beach. First as CFO and now as CEO and President of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, Brad Dean has brought positive change to Myrtle Beach without sacrificing the strong community ties for which the region is known. When he accepted his current roles in 2003, Brad Dean immediately demonstrated the highest concern for the Grand Strand and a driving sense of urgency. Dedicated to increasing tourist revenues and nourishing the community’s economic infrastructure, Brad Dean immediately pushed for new projects like the building of I-73 and began working to attract new members to the chamber. The Myrtle Beach economy has grown by 7% over Brad Dean’s tenure. Possessing the financial and economic foresight necessary to achieve such outstanding results, Brad Dean is a former financial analyst with organizations like the Hard Rock Cafe and General Electric. Brad Dean also holds a degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois, where he graduated with the highest honors and was a recipient of the Bronze Tablet. Brad Dean and his family now make their home in Murrells Inlet, where they attend Surfside Union Methodist Church. In his limited spare time, Brad Dean is an avid reader, citing John Maxwell, Ken Blanchard, and Bob Bestler among his favorite authors. |
