Charles Robert Knight recently served as General Counsel, Executive Vice President, and Corporate Secretary of Flight Safety Technologies, Inc. for three years ( 2005-2008), Attorney Charles Robert Knight was instrumental in ensuring SEC compliance, negotiating international trade agreements, implementing intellectual property license agreements, and handling patent and securities class action litigation. Over the course of his professional career, Charles Robert Knight has also worked with Brown Raysman Law Firm, Aetna Property and Casualty Company, Stewart & Irwin Law Firm, and The Indiana Association of Cities and Towns. Attorney Charles Robert Knight laid the foundation for his professional success as a student at the Indiana University School of Law. Dedicated to academic excellence, Charles Robert Knight was granted the honor of participating in a jury trial prosecution for homicide in his second year of law school. Even after earning his Juris Doctor, Charles Robert Knight has maintained a commitment to expand his legal education. To this end, Charles Robert Knight completed the Notre Dame Law School’s National Institute for Trial Advocacy program. Attorney Charles Robert Knight also maintains membership in the American Bar Association and is a member of the Professional Responsibility Committee of The American Bar Association. Beyond his professional endeavors, Charles Robert Knight channels his passion for helping others into a variety of volunteer opportunities. Charles Robert Knight is active in his community by past service volunteering in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the University Of Connecticut Medical Center. Additionally, Charles Robert Knight is a long-time supporter of the United Episcopal Charities, has served on the Vestry of Episcopal Churches in Connecticut and Indiana. He is also active in Chinese Energy Healing and participates in weekly Tai Chi and Energy Healing classes at The Hartford Family Institute. He has volunteered for “consciousness research” at the Institute For Noetic Sciences founded by astronaut Edgar Mitchell in Petaluma, California. Attorney Charles Robert Knight enjoys hobbies include jogging ( he has run The Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D. C as well as the Newport Marathon in Rhode Island), reading, and traveling. An avid reader, Charles Robert Knight particularly enjoys the works of authors such as Deepak Chopra, Jodi Picoult, and Wally Lamb. An accomplished creative writer, Charles Robert Knight has published articles about spirituality in the Notre Dame Literary Magazine, Indianapolis Monthly Magazine, and a number of newspapers.
