Filip Van Mullem

Founder, Human Business [Hu-Bu]

After 25 years in the "business world", Filip decided it was time to “give back” by founding Human Business [Hu-Bu], an organization set up to stimulate and help private and public employers implement employee volunteering initiatives as part of Corporate Responsibility programs. Filip graduated from the Brussels University [ULB] with a major in Political Science and International Relations in 1984 and an MBA from the Solvay Business School in 1989. Filip, speaking five languages, has over 12 years of sales, marketing and management experience including positions at D’Ieteren (VAG importer for Belgium), Avis Lease Europe and General Electric followed by 13 years of entrepreneurship, starting in 1996 with three companions, a consulting and management company active in the automotive leasing industry, still employing 200 people across Europe.
