D-Malice

DJ/Producer, DM Recordings

Dubplate Malice aka D-Malice is an exceptional talent and ambassador of the ever-evolving UK music scene. With many strings to his bow, the Bedford based DJ/ Producer began djing at a tender age of 13 heavily influenced by the old skool garage sound. Not restricted to one genre he tried his hand at Dancehall, Reggae, Soulful, Hip Hop, R&B and other genres of world music, before finding a passion for House. At 17 he began producing, mainly Hip-hop; drawing influence from producers such as J-Dilla, Madlib, MF Doom, Kanye West and Pharell. But the passion for House music took over and the journey for this talented producer began. With the sounds of Atjazz, Domu, Phil Asher, Basement Boys, Masters At Work, Kenny Dope and Dennis Ferrer tearing up the dance floors worldwide, Malice took this sound and formed it into his own and in 2007 produced one of the biggest tracks (Gabryelle Re-Edit) to hit the UK House scene – which became a big success in clubs all over the UK with Djs and ravers alike. Not forgetting he is also a DJ and one part of collective DM.Recordings, you can catch him headlining at all the major events up and down the country. Malice provides high energy and inspirational sets and never fails to deliver an electric atmosphere, wither in a club or on one of his two weekly radio shows. Surprisingly enough, Malice also finds time to study his passion. After attending college, he is now currently studying Music Technology at a degree level. Fully focused and on point Dubplate Malice is fast establishing himself an authority in the scene, recently name checked in The London Paper and other various publications. His schedule is jam packed with collaborations and new tracks being released through the year, not forgetting his various appearances in Europe through the summer. All eyes are defiantly on this talented artist.
