I have been providing strategic marketing and business development consulting services to the consumer electronics industry for 9 years, with a focus on wired (CAT5/6, coax, phoneline), wireless (WiFi, UWB, WiMAX, 802.22/TV Bands, wireless HDMI), and powerline entertainment and controls networks. My clients range from very large corporations such as Samsung to technology start ups. With a background that includes VP of Product Development, advanced R&D, off-shore manufacturing, marketing, PR, and standards development, my role is to fully understand a client's solutions at a technical level and then assist their in-house staff to create a complete strategy encompassing product development, marketing, PR, standards, and when appropriate, industry alliances and partnerships. Once a strategy is developed, I continue to assist them by speaking with customers, at conferences, and with the press; by writing white papers and articles; and representing them on standards committees and alliances. My typical client relationships last for 2-3 years or more attesting to the value they place on the services I provide throughout the development and launch life cycles.
