Editor, Earthmover and Civil Contractor magazine

I was born into a farming family at Mortlake in western Victoria. We raised Corriedale sheep, Hereford and Shorthorn beef and dairy cattle and various crops. Sold farm in 1974 and I joined staff of Stock and Land newspaper where I stayed until 1986. Then joined the Weekly Times, another farm paper, before moving to Sydney in 1992 to work on beef and rural retailing mags. Later helped edit NSW Farmers' monthly mag, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association mag and varoius titles for Reed publications. Have edited monthly magazine Earthmover and Civil Contractor for the construction industry since 2002.
