Jill Lewis

Worked 26 years for Corning Inc. in various engineering and manufacturing roles. Key roles included Manufacturing Department head, over 100+ people under my direction. I also worked many years in Corporate engineering, leading cost reduction and the Industrial Engineering projects as part of new and expansions during construction projects. These efforts supported many Corning Inc. locations located in many countries and domestic facilities. I ended my career in my overall favorite position as the Manager of Manufacturing Systems Engineering. With my wonderful talented team we supported projects all over the world, we re-wrote(and audited) many key sections of the Manufacturing Effectiveness audit, as well as the thing I am most proud of, getting Lean manufacturing incorporated into the culture of Corning Inc.
