Patrice WagstaffTreasurer, Latch Oil, Inc. I was born in Port Arthur, Texas on January 7, 1960 at St. Mary's Hospital. I attended Robert E. Lee Elementary School from kindergarten through sixth grade. I lived in Port Arthur until 1972, when my family moved to Port Neches, Texas and I attended Port Neches Jr. High for 7th and 8th grade. In June 1974 we moved to Newton, TX. I attended Newton High School for 3 years from 1974 until 1978. My first year of college at age 17 was at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, TX. I married my high school sweetheart in May 1978, moved to Houston and transfered to the University of Houston. I graduated from UH in July 1980 with an accounting major. I began working for a national CPA firm, Fox & Company in July 1980. In February 1982, I began working for Cox & Perkins Exploration as the Controller for 9 years. In February 1991 I began working for Huthnance Offshore Inc. as the Treasurer. In 1994 I began working for Latch Oil, Inc. on a part time basis. Finally in January 1995 I moved to Jasper, TX and began working full time for Latch Oil, Inc. I divorced in June 1998 after 20 years of marriage. Divorce was definately a life changing event for me. Although I never thought I would divorce, I have survived and been blessed above all my expectations. In January 1999, I had a blind date with Jimmy Wagstaff. Although he was a little older and a lot more country than me, we feel in love and married on March 25, 2000. I have been blessed with 3 wonderful grown step-children who I consider not only family but also my friends. I love them and their family's very much. The 7 grandchildren are the light of my life. I am so proud of each one of them and enjoy being a big part of each of their life's. We lived in Pearland from 2000 until 2006, when we moved back to Jasper, TX. We have purchased a nice home with 50 acres on highway 190. We enjoy our home and our 4 horses...Sally, Lighting, Luce, and Bam. |
