A socially conscious building designer with a passion for environmental sustainability, I enjoy working on buildings with a strong social role, like schools, libraries, museums, and community centers. Switching to working for a non-profit has been a wonderful opportunity to better understand the intricacies of how schools can use renewable energy and energy efficient designs. I thoroughly enjoy the personal relationships and interactions through this work, and look forward to returning to designing buildings for these worthy institutions. Related qualifications: My education focused on sustainability, including a design-build competition for the Solar Decathlon, and I am a LEED A.P.
