He has held NASD series 7, 63 and 24 licenses as a principal of a midwest regional securities firm Additionally, he has held multi-state licenses with a number of underwriters for insurance and annuity products. Mr. Wyer has consulted with major financial institutions on best practices for loan origination as well as consumer lending, mortgage lending, collections and estate planning. His professional memberships have included The Mortgage Bankers Association, National Association of Retail Bankers, National Association of Securities Dealers, The Debt Buyers Association, The Direct Marketing Association and The E-Marketing Association. Prior to FlexHedge, Mr. Wyer was a founder of SmartHedge LLC, a structured finance provider for domestic equities. Additionally, Mr. Wyer has served as Chief Manager of both Merchant Capital LLC and Merchant Management LLC. Both companies were involved in the distressed consumer debt business. In this capacity, Mr. Wyer managed more then 400 professional sales people on a national basis. Professional brokers, certified public accountants, Registered Investment Advisors and financial planning firms represented the Merchant companies. Additionally the Merchant companies purchased and serviced more the $1B in consumer debt acquired from major lenders including Chase Bank, MBNA and Discover Card. Mr. Wyer was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wyer Creative Communication until 2001. The firm provided integrated software, technology, marketing and servicing solutions for national financial institutions. The firm’s client list included Chase Bank, Chase Mortgage, GE Mortgage, H&R Block, Banc One and First USA. The firm had two operation centers and employed over 500 people.
