Kugen is a leading transformation/ change strategist and implementer who has consulted for many organisations both locally and abroad. He is particularly good in program managing large complex multifaceted transformational type projects. He has gained this type of experience during his consulting career assisting a wide variety of clients in the public and private sectors. He has a sound academic background with substantial skills in trouble shooting, research, analysis and insight development as well as in strategy formulation and implementation. In his consulting career he has assisted ABSA, and Goldfields, locally and The Prudential, Consours Bank, and First Chicago Bank, overseas, to develop and implement difficult turn around strategies. He was also responsible for developing and implementing significant turn-around at Avis Fleet Services Southern Africa, and Johnnic Learning Channel as a Group Managing Director and CEO respectively, in these companies. Kugen’s’ areas of expertise are in the areas of Change Management, Turn-around and Restructuring, Strategic and Business Planning, Customer Relationship Management, Process Reengineering, Economic and Human Development and Organisation Design and Development. Kugen Naidoo has consulted to the Gauteng Department of Development Planning and Local Government (DDPLG) and the Gauteng Department of Finance and Economic Affairs, developing the Local Economic Development Strategy and the Gauteng Trade and Industry Strategies respectively. Kugen Naidoo currently mentors eight CEO s, and many young protégés.
