Longtime owner and President of WATH/WXTQ Radio in Athens, Ohio. Had previously worked in broadcasting in Honolulu, Los Angeles, Denver & Columbus, OH. Formerly owned WRAP in Norfolk, VA. Has served on the Boards of the Ohio and National Association of Broadcasters and as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C. Is the General Manager of the Southern Ohio Copperheads, a wooden bat summer collegiate all star baseball team. Has been associated in the past with the Cincinnati Reds, New York Mets and the San Diego Padres. Has been a faculty member of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. Has been, and continues to be, keenly involved in many community and civic organizations. Has been elected to Athens (OH) City Council on four occasions (twice as President).
