An innovative professional working as a Group Operational Risk Manager. With over 10 years international experience, across a variety of industry sectors, with the ability to motivate, educate and lead multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. My engineering (Bachelors in Civil Engineering, City University, London) and technical knowledge combined with a strong commercial awareness has proven highly advantageous to clients in such diverse applications as: risk and value management in procurement, PPP/PFI strategic & project advice to government, local authorities and the private sector, establishing the Facilities Management function, risk & insurance training, risk assessment and appraisal for both the corporate and public sectors. Also, an accomplished and frequent speaker at conferences and seminars on PPP/PFI and Risk Management related topics and an Assistant Examiner at the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) in London. Married with 4.5 year old son, and 7 month old daughter, my hobbies include classic car racing and motor mechanics, cycling, DIY and foreign travel.
