Hi, My name is Jerry J. Jansen. I am a developer/webmaster in Microsoft ASP.NET VB and VFP. My hobbies include computers, digital photography, music (oldies, light rock, country, and Christian), movies (adventure, drama, sci-fi, and romance), and my Pomeranian dog named Shata! I am currently employed full time as a Developer/Webmaster in the Information Systems Division with the Oklahoma House of Representatives. I wrote and maintain about 20+ computer programs written in Microsoft’s Visual Basic ASP.NET, and Visual FoxPro Professional. I also wrote and maintain an internal intranet web site written in DotNetNuke framework. I also wrote the very first web site for the Oklahoma House of Representatives over 16 years ago and now I maintain their external web sites which are written in ASP .NET 3.5. I am a well known Internet Marketer selling my own developed software and as an affiliate for many other software companies. I am also an affiliate for other Internet Marketers. I am also the President of Jansen Marketing, Inc. I am the owner and president of Jansen’s Software where I write and maintain computer programs for other businesses and law enforcement agencies. I also sell nationwide and maintain a program for Visual Crime Stoppers which I wrote about 27 years ago and a program for Task Force Agencies called Narcotics Investigative Reporting System (NIRS). I am retired from the United States Air Force after twenty years as a Titan II Missile Engine Technician, Instructor, and Career Development Course Technical Writer. I was stationed at Davis Monthan AFB, Tucson, Arizona for 5 years and at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas for 15 years where I retired in 1986. I have been partners in several business in the past including an Audio/Video/TV Repair Shop, two Restaurants, a Heat & Air Repair Company, and a Roofing Company. I was a self-taught electronic technician. I repaired audio, video, and musical equipment. I have also owned several Computer programming companies, Texhoma Computers, Genuis II Computers, and now Jansen’s Software. I was self-taught in the programming languages of: Basic, dBase, dBase II, dBase III, Quick Silver, FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, and now ASP.NET VB. I have written over 100 computer applications and was well known in the FoxPro community as an outstanding Visual FoxPro programmer. I started the first Computer Club in Wichita Falls, Texas back when Radio Shack came out with their first TRS-80 computer system. I was working for Radio Shack part time and I purchased the first TRS-80 system in Wichita Falls. I have recently been elected as the Vice President of Technology for the Oklahoma City .NET Developers Group here in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I attend the Rock Assembly of God Church where I have been a member now for over fifteen years. I attend most of the church’s functions and I have ministries that I perform for the church. I am their sound technician for the Rock for over eight years. I also developed and maintain the Rock’s website now written in DotNetNuke Framework. I also take photos and videos for the church which they publish on their website and I help to maintain their computer system and network. I am married to my wife Gina for over 18 years. I have four children, James, Roger, David, and Jennifer. My wife has two children, Cenac and Kissy. We have a total of seven grand children.
