Job Title: Network Systems Administrator / Information Technology Management Lead role in the implementation and adoption of secure communication technologies. Modernize the IT infrastructure and the overhaul of hardware and server environment. Objectives were to rebuild the IT Department into a trusted resource and provide users with confidence in the business systems and communication tools. Provided the Chief Financial Officer and Management Team with a cost-analysis and implement required improvements Responsibilities and Skills: Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot workstations, servers, and other equipment as assigned; insuring required user applications and connectivity are functional and meet business requirements. •Manage and administer backup processes and systems to insure data and system integrity for servers, workstations, and other equipment as assigned IT assets. •Manage and administer Windows Active Directory (primarily Exchange) and their corresponding software and hardware systems. •Monitor system performance for both PC’s and server, including storage systems, memory, and processing usage. •Published an automated IT Support Request to accurately document all repairs, installs, moves, changes, and removals according to set processes and procedures. •Collaborate with multi-site technicians/network administrators as necessary for all system maintenance and updates. •Receive and respond to incoming calls from remote users, pages, and/or e-mails regarding desktop problems and VPN connections. •Maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, network cards, and other components and equipment. •Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory including, setting domain policies, how IPSEC works, Group Policy, site definition, replication, trusts etc. •When necessary, liaise with third-party support and equipment vendors.
