MEDICAL RECORDS SPECIALIST, EASTERN CT HEALTH ORGANIZATION

I graduated from Franklin High School in Somerset, NJ in 1974. My first full time job was in Medical Records at Middlesex General Hospital where I worked my way up the ladder from file clerk to coder,etc. I moved to CT in the fall of 1979 because my fiance who was from Ct was offered a job with the State of CT Health Dept. I am now divorced and still living in CT and have continued in the Medical Records field. After being laid off last Feb 2010, I am studying on line for Medical Coding. I am also working part time at a doctor's office. I have 2 sons, both of whom are wonderful young men. One is in the army and is currently deployed. He should finish his deployment in June or July,2011.
