My experience has previously been in the hospitality, restaurant, healthcare and oil & gas industries. I am fluent in English and Spanish and able to provide services to those clients whose command of the English language is limited. I have years of experience as an assistant at various capacities such as sales, marketing, legal and executive assistant. I am able to work efficiently with top executives, risk management, attorneys, physicians and vendors in a professional manner. You will find me to be no stranger to long hours and hard work. Some of my skills include but not limited to Microsoft Word XP, Vista, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Facebook, QuickBooks and Publisher as well as company developed computer systems. I am confident, that with minimal training and exposure to the firm’s policies and procedures, I can make an immediate and meaningful contribution as a member of the team. My past educational experience as a paralegal affords me the knowledge to perform with the upmost integrity and professionalism. In addition, I have worked as a consultant to local hospitals providing contracts management services between the hospital and physicians. I have been very active in the community and have held offices such as; Past President and Board Member of the Houston Downtown Lions Club, a service organization which provides eyeglasses and hearing aids to those in need. In addition, I served as District Chairman of the Lions World Services for the Blind, which is an adult rehabilitation facility for the blind. The center provides assistance, which enables the blind to live a more productive life. I have volunteered my time, as a speaker, by taking the word to various organizations in order to collect funding for the construction of the new state of the art facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. Further, part of my past volunteer work has been in assisting the YMCA Camping Services to raise money to send children that are less fortunate, to camp, a program proven to be a life changing experience for these children. For networking purposes, I attend functions with groups such as West Houston Chamber, National Hispanic Professional Organization, Hispanic Women in Leadership, IN-Houston, and many others. For fun, I enjoy attending church on a regular basis, ballroom dancing, exercise, weight lifting, red wine, and reading.
