Regional Head (Asia Pacific)_Global Insurance Risk Management, Barclays Bank PLC

I have about 15 years experience in Risk Management Services. I started my career with PricewaterhouseCoopers rotating from the Taxation Services to Internal Audit and lastly Risk Management Services before i left the organisation to join Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) as the Regional Risk Manager. In SIA i established and maintained a risk management framework for the Singapore Airport Terminal Services group of companies. Thereafter i was the Principal Officer managing the insurance company of the group. After more than 5 years in SIA, i moved to Cadbury PLC as the Regional Head of Internal Audit for Asia Pacific. The audit advisory services range from due diligences assignments to risk based audits throughout the Asia Pacific region. In 2009 i joined Barclays Bank as the Regional Head of Global Insurance Risk focusing on my strength which is risk management. As the Regional Head of Global Insurance Risk, Asia Pacific , i manage the diversed insurance programme for the region and provide insurance risk management advisory services for the various business divisions in Barclays to ensure the assets of the Bank is protected. Efficiency and speed are crucial characteristics when working for a Bank so naturally i have to equipped with them to keep up with the Bank. I believe in continuous development and completed my MBA end of 2008 and attended the graduation in May 2009 (my profile photo above).
