I am a wife, mother of five, grandmother of four, author and an educator for almost 19 years. I was a stay at home mom before entering the classroom. After spending my entire career in education, I have a real concern for what is happening on the federal, state, local, and classroom level in education. I believe that every child can learn and deserves a quality education. I also believe that it takes administration, teachers, parents, and students to make a successful educational experience. We all must be held accountable and do our parts to succeed in this global economy. Education is the answer for our future leaders and it must become a priority in this country to remain a global leader in the 21st century.
