Lisa M. AdcockNeonatologist, Pediatrix After graduating from LSU Medical School in New Orleans (1988), I trained in Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas (1988-1991), followed by a three year fellowship in Neonatology, also at Baylor (1991-1994). In 1994 I was invited to join the Pediatric faculty of Baylor College of Medicine in the Newborn section, where I balanced clinical and administrative duties along with neonatal brain injury research. I served on faculty at Baylor from 1991-2008. As an Associate Professor of Pediatrics I was involved in both teaching medical students in the classroom as well as at the bedside. Until 2008, I served as Baylor Neonatology's Director of ECMO and TCH's Neonatal Transport Director. I served on numerous committees and was actively involved in clinical neonatal care in one of the world's largest, most acute neonatal intensive care units. I currently work for Pediatrix as a hospital based neonatologist assigned to the College Station Medical Center in College Station, Texas. |
