I managed a small Venture Capital Fund (funded by several large commercial banks) and have extensive experience in strategic and financial planning, capital formation, management and corporate board development. I have over 30 years of high level experience in the Banking and Venture Capital industries. As president of the venture capital fund, I evaluated deals, acquired companies, performed company valuations and, when needed, acted as CEO, CFO and/or General Manager to various portfolio companies. In this role, I sat on the board of six portfolio companies and assisted in strategic and financial planning, debt restructuring, asset acquisition and many other aspects relating to the management of the various companies. I have experience in working with under capitalized and distressed companies. While in Banking I was a relationship manager for middle market and large corporate accounts. My portfolio was comprised of a variety of industries including manufacturing, service, professional, utilities and government. I have had extensive formal credit, analytical and sales training over the years. Additionally, I consistently won performance awards for new business, fee income and other performance targets at several banks. I have made many high level, quality presentations, written and verbal, to management and to shareholders on an array of issues.
