Professional Summary
I was raised in Southwest Missouri for 19 yrs. After graduating highschool in 1998, I moved to Northeast Oregon where I was soon introduced to the LDS church and was baptized. At age 22 I served a mission for the church in South Africa and after returning home, moved to New Mexico where I met my husband and started our family. I now stay home with the kids and enjoy teaching them the basics of life. We will be welcoming our 3rd child in Feb.

I was stationed in the fire trucks to help the hand crews when they needed to be supplied with water. I also worked in the clean up- using shovels and water to stir up dirt to cool things down. This job I did for 2 summers in a row before my mission. I also worked various waitressing jobs while we were in the down months for fires.

Here I cleaned up wax molds that had just been poured of artists' work so that it would be ready to go into the slurry dept. and eventually become a bronze piece. My uncle Steve Parks is the owner of this Bronze foundry and my father Jon Parks also works there. They are both from Joseph, Oregon. While working this job full-time, I also had a part time position at the nearby Dairy Queen as a closing asst. manager.

I would cash checks for customers, send western unions, answer customer service questions, and help each teller balance their drawers of money after each shift. I worked mainly at night and was responsible for closing the store. This was my high school job that I worked on weekends and after school while living in Missouri. After graduating highschool I quit and moved to Oregon.
