George Yee

George Yee was formerly a Research Officer in the Information Security Group, Institute for Information Technology, National Research Council Canada (NRC) for 7.5 years. Prior to the NRC, he had significant experience as a member of scientific staff and manager at Bell-Northern Research and Nortel Networks. George received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada in 1991. He is a professional engineer (P.Eng.), a Senior Member of IEEE, and a member of ACM . He is also a Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). His interests include security and privacy for electronic transactions and software engineering for security, reliability, and performance. .
