Franck Goron

Franck Goron has 14 years of experience developing IT solutions and aligning information systems to support the objectives of commercial, public sector, and non-profit organizations. Franck previously worked for Oracle Corporation Consulting - Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) Group until 2003. While there he managed the implementation of Oracle solutions and technology for Oracle's customers and received the Global Impact Award for participating in the development and deployment of eBusiness solutions for clients in the United States, Europe and Asia. Franck left Oracle in 2003 to found e-angel providing business-enabling solutions using Open Source technology. At e-angel he spearheaded business development transforming technology conversations into business value conversations. He envisioned and designed innovative eBusiness architecture and strategies to provide organizations like The Microfinance Information Exchange and American Academy of Ophthalmology with low risk, low investment, high return solutions. In December 2006, Orchid Suites acquired and merged with e-angel. After the merger, Franck served as the Chief Technology Officer of Orchid Suites, a software-as-services firm providing hosted eBusiness solutions. Franck established IT strategy, designed and implemented business processes and standards, managed technology resources and infrastructure, and oversaw the development and implementation of IT products for over 200 customers including Mitsubishi and the Department of Energy. Franck is fluent in French and English, holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design from the University of Technology of Compiègne in France. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and is ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) V3 Foundation certified.
