Helen HarperCFO, The Cat's Meow I am retired from my career in Parks & Recreation. After getting my college degrees, I worked for the Department of Defense in Taiwan & the Philippines for 5 years. I moved to California in 1977 where I enjoyed being the Parks & Recreation Superintendent for the City of Sacramento until I retired in 2005. I have one son, Shawn Harper; a perfect daughter-in-law, Heather Harper; and one grandson, Jacob. I am staff to my three feline kids: Pawly, Thunder & Lightning My husband is Les Sarrels Life, work and leisure are all about doing something that you find fulfilling.
