I am a freelance writer who has written reviews of contemporary art exhibitions as well as catalogues for individual artists and exhibitions.

I have also written and published a mystery set in Rome and Florence, Italy ("A Feast of Small Surprises") and am completing a second mystery set in Atlanta, Georgia.

I have produced an audio driving tour of wineries in Carneros, a region of Napa and Sonoma Valleys in California and I take delight in exploring the complex processes of wine-making and the pleasures of wine-tasting.

I'm originally from the south, from Atlanta, Georgia but, since marrying in 1986, I have lived in Paris, France, Amsterdam, Holland, and Marin County, California. I now live with my husband in Portland, Oregon (and I still say "y'all").
