Brian Adams

Brian is a native "Mariettan". As a senior at McEachern H.S., he was Regional "Basketball Player of the Year" and earned an athletic scholarship to college. He attended Southern Technical Institute, now known as Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) and graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering Technology. While in college, Brian was President of the FCA and played guard the SPSU basketball team which won the NAIA District Tournament and a trip to the Nationals at Kemper Arena in Kansas City. He is presently involved as a member of the Alumni Association Board and served as President for two years. He has held various PacK and Troop positions within Boy Scouts of America. He is an ordained Deacon and member of the North Cobb Rotary Club. He is married to Melanie Slate Adams and has a large family. Brian spent the early part of his career in plastics in Sales and Marketing positions. He has been a Financial Advisor for about 12 years and with Investment Firm, United Community Advisory Services. He principally serves Cobb, Paulding and Cherokee Counties.
