Daisy Wwife, mother, grandmother, Retired Tony and I have been married since Oct of 1974, we have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. I have been a Barber/Cosmotologist for over 30yrs, and I was a flight attendant for 12yrs. I just took an early retirement in Nov of 2007 and purchased a franchise call FRESH COAT painters in March of 2008 with the intension to have our start date in July 2008. We had just got started and things were looking good. Then my 84 yr old mom fell and broke her wrist in August and then my papa fell and broke his neck in Sept. and that is when they discovered he had a cancer ridden tumor by his neck. Well the break in his neck caused him to lose use of both hands and the radiation damaged his asaphagus to the point he could not swallow. From there he went down hill fast. I spent every day looking after him. I took care of him till he passed away Jan 2,2009. But in the mean time I was not able to build FreshCoat and so I had to let it go. It saddens me but with the economy the way it is I guess everyone is doing their own painting these days. I have faith that God will make things work out just don't know right now how that will be. UPDATE: It's been a crazy yr. On July 21st of 2009 while in the waiting room as my husband was having and angiogram done I received a call that my mom had a stroke. In the next couple of days my mom was not doing well and then my husband had complications from his angio and had blood pooling in his abdomen and down his leg. Just when things start looking up, on August 10th my husband and I are about to have dinner and my husband has a stroke right in front of me. We call 911 and they take great care of him. Running back and forth between visiting mom and taking care of my husband and my granddaughters I was getting exhausted, physically and mentally. Within a few weeks feeling returns to his right side but still having speech problems along with reading, writing and number recognition. Now Jan 2010, he is doing really good. My mom had to be moved from Good Samaritans Rehab in Kissimmee to Avanta in Orlando. She is doing way better there. Althought I dont get the chance to see her I do miss my visits with her but it is near impossible to do it all. But I praise God for all He blesses us with every single day of our lives.
