By day, Carlos is a crusading Sr. Operating Systems Programmer working for the Enterprise Services Technology Department of Miami-Dade County. He is also a professional photographer and technology blogger. He owns and operates PlanetAMD64 and PlanetX64.com. During his convalescence from a near fatal illness, Carlos established PlanetAMD64.com, the largest 64-bit community site on the Internet. This was later followed by PlanetX64.com - "hardware and software reviews for the 64-bit world". Carlos recently started Echenique dot com, a blog that covers digital photography and technology. Carlos is married and has two children.
