A social work professional managing a company providing services to vulnerable young people, Jim had a long and varied career in the public sector as a social worker rising to Director of Social Services in the UK. He also worked in the not- for- profit sector and was a CEO for a mental health and housing charity. Jim has a MA in criminology and was a specialist member of the Care Standards Tribunal, a judiciary apppeals agency for health, education and social care/work. In social work education/training, Jim is an external examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Jim is a Chartered Director (Institute of Directors, UK).
