Some short professional experiences in the 80's, both in private companies and in the public sector, were followed by a 20+ years experience in the payments arena. Active participant and/or leadership in most recent and major events in payments, both in Portugal and Europe (e.g. euro changeover, EMV implementation, building a Single Euro Payments Area - SEPA). Fluent in several languages, member of national and international committees, namely expert groups sponsored by banks’ associations, has reached the top of a successfull carreer in a reference payment services provider.
