I hired on with Mergenthaler Linotype in '64 and began a 30-year career in typography. This was ended by carpal tunnel and eye problems. I then worked at my avocation of water gardening and stonework. I retired while nursing my wife through a long illness. Now, I do a little gardening, and walk the dog for exercise. We share in the cooking and watch a lot of TV. Everything is pretty well worn out in my body except my appetite. The computer is a great part of my day, as I log ancestors in findagrave.com and play dominoes and card games. Also spend a lot of time writing memoir stories on the computer and writing old friends.
