Cheryl's career began in NYC while at the High School of Art & Design with an internship at the boutique Madison Ave. ad agency, Lord, Geller, Federico, Einstein, Inc., learning at an early age, the creative business of advertising. A graduate of Parsons School of Design where she received a BFA in Communication Design w/a TV Commercial Production minor, she most recently acquired graphic design work with the Negro Ensemble Company, Purple Giraffe Productions & the Paper Mill Playhouse. When at NBC, Cheryl worked on TODAY show promotions along with CNBC & MSNBC. She directed CNBC & MSNBC talent photo shoots for high visibility ad campaigns & designed graphics for the music cd kit for the '04 Olympic games. Other jobs included the Toyota Concert Series on TODAY, collateral and outdoor advertising.
Ms. Green designed graphics for Cablevision, was the Promotion Art Director at Women's Wear Daily, worked on special projects for W magazine along with a fulltime freelance position at BRIDE'S magazine. A partner of Velvet Rope, an event marketing company, Cheryl was the aesthetician, stylist & branding expert behind the televised "Mink & Diamonds" event in NYC and the fashion show in conjunction with the Nat'l. Basketball Players Assoc. All-Star Gala, marketing a NYC diamond dealer & NYC based furrier.
She branded the Harlem School of the Arts '07-'08 galas along w/the Harlem YMCA's Black Achievers In Industry® events. She was recently a project Sr. Art Director at A&E and is on the Board of Governors, of the Nat'l Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NY Emmy® Awards).
