Jerry WarrenEngineering- Staff Specialist, United Airlines- Retired My work career throughout my life has been varied and interesting. It began in 1964 working on the production line at the General Motors Assembly Plant in Fremont Ca. Three years later in 1967, I transitioned to a new career with United Airlines at the Maintenance Operations Center at San Francisco Int'l Airport. My career with United lasted for 36 great years, until I finally retired at age 58 in January of 2003 and just before the company filed for bankruptcy. During that time, my experience level and expertise in the aviation transportation industry was both varied and interesting and far exceeded any expectations that I might ever have had initially. Deciding to work for United Airlines was the best decision of my life, and this company has provided me with a good life during my working years and even now in retirement. |
