6 am Saturday the 24th of May. Early labor begins. Keep in mind, we were shooting for fully natural labor.
Riding the labor train. This took place at about 11pm for about 5 hours.
Tenacious Tannette...what a wonderful woman. She handled the pain extremely well. Here's proof.
7am on Sunday...21 hours later. Off to the hospital. Contractions frequent every 5 minutes.
Back from the hospital. We were sent home after being only 1.5 cm dialated. BACK TO WORK. We had hired a Doula to assist the labor and this is one position we used to reposition the baby. She wasn't dropping. (32 hours from beginning of contractions.)
3am Monday morning. Back at the hospital...finally. This is the bewitching hour. Tannette is too tired to walk around and she has only had 4 hours of sleep in 2 days. She would sleep on me between contractions 1 minute of work and 4 minutes of rest. (45 hours from initial contractions.)
