Matthew Hagen

CEO, American Forest Products, LLC

Matthew is the CEO and principal owner of American Forest Products (“AFP”). Prior to joining AFP, Matthew worked for Arthur Andersen LLP in the Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory Services. Following his time with Arthur Andersen, Matthew joined Thunderbird Forest Products as Vice President overseeing finance and manufacturing. Matt completed both a Bachelor of Science in International Business & Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern California. Matthew also received a MBA from the Harvard Business School. American Forest Products is comprised of Manufacturing and Distribution Divisions and ranks in the top 25 of US building products distributors. AFP Manufacturing has four manufacturing facilities in the US, one in Brazil and investments in two New Zealand operations. These manufacturing operations sell mouldings, boards and specialty building products into two-step distribution including AFP’s affiliated distribution operations. AFP Distribution sells mouldings and specialty millwork to big-box retail and is also a leading provider of third-party logistics and retail services for other building products manufacturers selling into big-box retail and pro-dealer locations.
