Daniel Grimes

To some, he is Dr. Grimes (students). Some call him Dr. G. Others call him Rev. Grimes (those are mostly religious types). And some still call him Pastor Danny (from 30 years of leadership in the local church in youth and pastoral ministry). His biker friends call him “Rev”. To most he is just Danny, a ragamuffin leader who is learning how to trust and experience God's grace each moment of each day. He loves his family (wife Sharon some call her “Candy”, and two grown kids Danny and Candace). If you want to hear about his passions, just mention the word leadership, or church, or ask about Russia. His teaching and research interests are in the area of leadership, youth ministry, cross-cultural ministry, missional leadership, the emergent discussion, and healthy churches. He is a student of the life of St. Francis of Assisi and Thomas Aquinas. Danny loves to laugh and push people to the limit. He is committed to honoring God with his life by being a person of influence. He strives to accomplish this by inspiring and impacting the lives of those who influence others.
