Brian Landrum is a 26 year radio veteran whose career has spanned various formats including Country, CHR, Rock, News-Talk, Oldies and more. Brian has been an award winning air talent, program director, marketing director, station manager among other positions. Brian got the radio bug when he was 11 years old. Don't tell the FCC, but he started his own AM/FM combo in his barn when he was 12. His friends served as Dee Jays and didn't get paid, so radio has not changed in all those years. Brian's first real job came at the ripe old age of 14 at the Country station (KTIB) in his hometown of Thibodaux, La. At 17 he landed a job at the top rated Country in New Orleans (WNOE) and from there has had a career that has taken many turns including a stint as manager of the legendary WSM in Nashville. Duties here also included Executive Producer of the syndicated Grand Ole Opry show. Brian is passionate about radio and is not only a programmer of music, but a music lover of all genres. Brian's main passion though is his family which includes his his beautiful wife Jaime, sons Devin, Scotty and Vaughn and daughter Abigail. Brian and family currently reside on their farm property in North Alabama. Brian currently manages the Shoals Radio Group of stationsin Florence/Muscle Shoals Alabama which includes Country-WLAY, Rock-WVNA, CHR-Star 94, News/Talk-WVNA-AM, Urban-WMXV and The Muscle Shoals Sound-WLAY-AM. Brian continues to consult small and medium market stations around the country.
