Ray Wilcox, owner of Wilcox Distinctive Photography, brings 20 years of experience in satisfying clients with discriminating tastes.

His BBA from Marshall University (1984) provided the foundation for creating his own business. Since then, Ray has served on the board of directors for the Maryland Professional Photographers’ Association (MPPA) and was chosen Photographer of the Year by his peers in 1991. Ray also served as “Chairman Of Print Competition” from 1991 through 1993 for MPPA. He studied and continues to refine his talent through close association with leading artists in the industry.

In the last few years, the photography industry has changed drastically. Ray has enthusiastically adapted to the times and embraced the new technology to produce extraordinary images for his clients. Ray’s involvement in seminars and workshops keeps him abreast of the latest techniques and equipment. The “digital age” has allowed him to take his artistry to a higher level! He is currently on the preferred list of professional photographers at major hotels in Maryland and Washington, DC.
