Author/screenwriter

I’m an author/screenwriter with 20 published short stories. I self-published my first three novels. My fourth novel was picked up by Dark Castle Lords Publications as Book 1 of a series. Book 2 of that series, my fifth novel, is currently being edited. Over the past two years, I have been hired to write two feature-length screenplays for one production company and a short film for a second production company. Unfortunately, none of those films have been made yet due to difficulties obtaining funding. Hopefully someday… I also have an actress/model/film producer interested in turning my fourth novel into a film. I write fantasy and horror, with a little science fiction thrown in once in a while. I’m also Wiccan. If you have questions about Wicca, please ask. It’s not what is usually portrayed on TV and in film. Wicca is a peaceful, Earth-based religion. The core of it is “harm none”. Due in large part to my religious beliefs, I’m a vegetarian. I can’t very well strive to live by “harm none” and still eat meat, knowing where it comes from. I don’t smoke or drink, either. In addition to writing, I work a part-time job while waiting that, to date, elusive big break. I work in a Goodwill donation trailer. I put in 10-hour-long shifts on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The other four days I write and promote my work. A lot of the time not spent at my desk or at my part-time job is spent reading. I read mostly fantasy and science fiction. My favorite authors are, in the order of my having discovered their talents, Terry Brooks, Michael Crichton ( a moment of silence for the dearly departed, please ) Jim Butcher and Terry Goodkind. I also read/collect comic books and am a huge Batman and Wonder Woman fan.
